FREEDOM
FREEDOM
THE COURAGE TO BE YOURSELF
OSHO
In Freedom, Osho describes three kinds of freedom: 1.) "Freedom from"-- a negative freedom, a freedom that comes from being without something-- parents, government responsibilities. 2.) "Freedom for"-- a positive freedom that comes from embracing and creating someting-- a loved one or an idea. 3.) The highest and ultimate freedom, goes beyond the negative and the positive; it is "just freedom". In this last type freedom is not for or against something, but the freedom of simply being. Topics covered include: *The difference between freedom and license *Why people say they want freedom but in reality they are afraid of it *The two sides of the coin: freedom and responsibility *Freedom from and freedom for *Why freedom is the ultimate value in life
